My best friend and i have been really close for about 3 years. He's always a had thing for me since we've met and just recently i've started to fall for him DEEPLY. We "hooked up" (just sweet kisses) and we both CARE/adore each other but we decided that it's not the best time to have a relationship in our lives right now. We're both in college wanting to get school done, stressed out with work, money, and we're just growing up. He said that he does want to be with me now b/c it's not the right time - that if we were to ever be together, it would be perfect - he wants a "serious, long lasting, and worthwhile" relationship with me someday and that's not now. He wants something "real" and not some sort of 5month college relationship. When we talked about this in person, i could tell it was harder for him than me. i would be next to him and he'll hold me close for a while and realize what he's doing and stop. Sometimes, he'll put up a front or give in, laugh n say, "u make me laugh..."....

CONTINUED - and he'll ask if he'd see me around campus tomorrow...i don't know...does he really mean it when he said he wanted something "lost lasting?" and does he still have feelings for me?

Yes I think he does have feelings for you but at the same time, he doesn't want to ruin a good friendship if the relationship doesn't work out. I think you should let it be what it is for now and if the both of you are ready when the time is right then go for it. Don't try and rush into anything to fast you may lose him as a friend as well by doing this.

In my opinion, he does love you. However, I feel he has his family respolnsibilities, like looking after the education of brothers/sisters, making them marry, etc. However, this can be achieved together after your marriage. However, you both should not think of a child till your responsibilities are over. You should not delay marriage inordinately. This is my sincere advice.

Good luck and God bless.

Yes, he's got feelings for you.

I'd just go for it. College is the time to explore these things...
