I've fallen for someone who lives and works an hour by freeway. He has a home and so do I. Neither would be able to move, can it really work?
Any one got hints to minimise possible problems?

Will one of you ever be able to move if the relationship progresses to where you would want to get married? I am in a long distance relationship (five hour drive, different state), and we have made it work by e-mailing, phone calls, IMs, and seeing each other every other weekend. We Wish we lived just an hour away so we could meet up whenever just for even coffee. We have a production every time we want to get together, but it is worth it. We are marrying in May and the distance will be a thing of the past.
Work hard at your relationship and it can work. I would think at some point you might want to make steps to be together permanently.

I dated someone who lives 1800miles away, 1 hour i would have killed for that, if you want it to work you will find a way, but 1 hour, I dont consider that a long distance relationship. Make it work.

Absolutely, my girlfriend lived on the other side of town and with traffic it was an hour. We met halfway alot but we still drove countless times to see eachother. If it's worth it then an hour is nothing.

I live in Indiana, and my guy lives in Florida, although currently he's in Africa on a job. We have no issues whatsoever because we love, understand, trust, and respect each other. We know where we've been, where we are, and where we are going. We've been together for five years with many to come.
Yes, it will work if you allow it to work.

That doesn't sound like a problem. If you can see eachother a few times a month,or talk on the phone. That would be fine.

yes it can work, as long as neither one of you have trust issues, And in time one of you will most likely give up your home to be with the other one

It's possible, but not very likely. That's the kind of situation where you only get to see each other on weekends.
