I think no one should ever actually lie about their age, but they are not required to divulge it if it makes them uncomfortable. However, when it comes to dating...if a woman feels she may become serious with a man I think they should both be open about their ages, as well as their goals for a relationship. Especially if they want children...some women and men in their late 30's to 40's+ still want to build families, but it may be more of a challenge, and it's important that everyone knows what's up. By the same token, some people assume things depending upon age. Not all 20+ year-olds want to eventually marry and have children. And not all 40+ year-olds want to remain single and not build families. As for the rest of the people a woman deals with...she is as young as she feels! And, numbers aside, that is really the truth!

I am 23, but look 17 or 18. People are often shocked to hear my age, so I enjoy giving them little cardiac arrests! Seriously, even if I were 45, I'd still give my real age, especially to a potential date or a boyfriend, 'cos I want a man who'll accept me for EVERYTHING I am. Plus, what's wrong with aging if you look and feel young? Just enjoy life while it lasts, darling. I'd rather look old and haggard, yet had a meaningful and good life, than forever young and foolish with nothing to reminisce after a boring life or one full of lies and deceit. Embrace the years and be grateful to God.........

i dont think you should have to say what your age is to the average ordinary joe off the street but for something more intimate as a relationship i would tell the truth. aint nothing wrong with being honest.

For the life of me I've yet to understand why women feel the need to lie about their age. WTF is so bad about telling your age? I'd rather tell my age and miss out on a boyfriend (who obviously wasn't worth a damn anyway) than meet a guy, fall in love, he finds out I lied to him over my AGE and then have him not trust me or break up with me over something as stupid as how old I am. If you're gonna lie about your age, then what else are you going to lie about?

As long as a lady isn't crossing the line from jailbait to non-jailbait or vice-versa, the truth isn't particularly relevant.
