I lost the closest person ever to me in a car accident 4 years ago. i still love her. now im with a smart funny sexy girl . we've been together for a year i love her too. but she has told me she knows my heart cant truly be hers. i know she says its okay but i know it hurts her
how do you let go and move on when the person you loved the most was taken from you?

You will always love her but think of it this way. Right now you have someone else to love as well. I am so sorry you lost your first love but you should know that she would want you to be happy and to give all the love you can to your new girl. You need to let this girl know it and move on with your life. Do not talk all the time of the other girl to your new one. You want her to feel as special as she makes you feel.

it just takes time, when u are ready to let go you will do so. I have heard that most people love one person with all there heart and then they leave them for whatever reason and you can still love others but not like you loved that one, i don't know if its true or not, i am thankful i have not went through that. However My advise to you is seek counseling maybe and go from there. Its OK to love, i am sure she would not want you to be saddened like this, she would want you to move on, and be happy

I know its hard when you lose someone so close to you but you may be losing someone that can truly make you happy because you won't let go of your past. Do you believe in reincarnation? This new person may be the one you lost in a different form but you are risking losing her again because you won't let go of her in her previous life. Think about it. Don't risk losing her again.

loving is letting go, if you cannot let go that is not love, that is the selfish act of missing the person- you should move on, im sure the person would have wanted you to
