he has diabetes which is now under control. Blod pressure too is normal. Physiotherapy going on for him but not much relief. no movement in arm

Is a paralytic attack a brain attack or stroke? That is excellent that the diabetes and b/p is under control, and that he can move his leg! It is hard to predict the outcome of a stroke, but doctors are finding out more about what is called the plasticity of the brain, kind of like the ability of the brain to heal itself and find new pathways so it can continue to heal and function. It may take some time though. Physical theapy, occupational therapy and family support helps alot! Good luck...

Make him eat atleast 500 gms of garlic and 2 kgs of onion well cooked with other food every month and also ask him to consume 1/2 kgs of sour curd every day. See how he improves in about one to three months.
