i have a KENWOOD EXCELON DDX-8017 touch screen, dvd player, etc can i use it in my house? if i can what do i need to do it?

yes you can you need a 12volt power supply of at least 10amps they sell them at radio shack, i know i have done this you can even hook it into a home stereo amp

You'll need a 12 volt power supply. You can get them that have a cigarette lighter plug, then adapt your own wiring. Just make sure you wire it right or you'll fry it. Seems like a lot of work, though. It also reminds me of when I was a kid, we made a portable boom box out of a car radio, a car battery, and a couple of speakers. Dam thing weighed like 45 pounds, but it was portable (sort of). We took it to the Rose Parade one year, and we got tired of dragging it around, so we abandoned the thing. It's probably still there.

i do no longer see any difficulty using it with the laptop. I even have been using previous early 80's mini-ingredient structures for my desktops just to maintain them from ending up interior the bin. the only difficulty I forsee is a thank you to supply sufficient potential to the vehicle stereo. i'm not sure and that i've got no longer examined it yet for the shortcoming of a vehicle stereo to tinker with, yet whilst a working laptop or laptop potential supply unit is adequate then you may truthfully faucet from it.
