is it a good or bad idea to have your friend tell the girl that you like that you like her?

This idea sounds o.k. especially when you 're ashamed to expressyour feelings to her. You should be careful and choose a real friend who knows quite well the girl. Another way is to send her an e-mail or a letter it sounds romantic. Were i in the position of the girl i would prefer to hear it from the boy himself and not from a friend. If you want a intimate relationship with her it sounds strange if you can't talk to her and flirt her. It is your choice. Good luck !!

In some cases this may be a good idea. Especially if you have a hard time approaching this person. sometimes it can be a good conversation starter for the two of you. But you know that there are some consequences involved in having someone speak for you. Like for instance, them being a third party in your relationship with that person. sometimes that can cause problems in a relationship that you may not want to encounter.

Just by reading the other answers you see that you have both sides of the spectrum. You need to decide how you want to be perceived by this girl. Do you want her to think of you as a shy boy or a courageous boy? Which do you think she would relate to better? in the end it is your decision. Good Luck

Girls like confidence in a guy, so i would say it is a bad idea. Go up to her yourself and ask her out on a date or just start a conversation and get to know her a bit.

Im not sure how good this is, but i got a friend to tell her friend to tell her brother that i like him. And thats similar to your question lol and yes i understand wat ya mean. anyways i think this guy likes me now, so i guess it worked in a way! hope it does for u too if u go with it!

If you're in elementary school or junior high school, it's okay. If you're in high school then it's very, very, very bad. If you have a friend tell a girl you like her then it's more like a rumor then the truth, plus she might not believe him. If you like her then YOU tell her. There's nothing more attractive then having a guy admitting his feelings.

Grow some balls and tell her yourself. It always works out better if its you and not the friend because then she will think that Ur not man enough to tell yourself and she will get turned off.

Id say let your friend mention it to her but not seriously and see what her reaction is... but i prefer it when guys have the guts to come to me i respect them more for it.. smile at her when you pass her etc and make eye contact she'll soon get the point

I think its a good idea. Depending the kind of reaction your friend sees on her he/she will be able to tell whether she likes you too. It also avoids you the embarrassment and fear of rejection. Good luck.
