I have said before, and will say again, alternative remedies often appear to have some benefit due mainly to the placebo effect, with the patient feeling they are having some direct impact on their disease. This can not be discouraged, but do investigate what you are going to take, many cause significant problems.

Medical intervention is the only way of curing cancer, and even if it has progressed too far for cure, then medicine can prolong life expectancy in many cases. Please don't discount medicine for alternative remedies, if you want to try alternative therapies, use them to complement what you receive from trained physicians!

There are many different types of cancers (blood, bone, organ, etc) and various modalities for treating each. As a simple object lesson...cancer can oftentimes be traced back to free radicals causing oxidative stress to the cellular [lipid] membranes which can adversely impact our DNA. To neutralize or reduce this oxidation process (and also help repair the DNA), one must increase their level of antioxidants through the ingestion of fruits and vegetables (not synthetic supplements like A, C and E). The data is very conclusive on this.
