Britax seats are easy to fit, our one takes my son up to about 4 years old and will fit in a Ford focus and a Nissan Micra so a big car and a very small one.

The Britax Marathon is fairly easy to install in different cars.

But switching between cars increases the chance of misuse of the seat, and of poor installations.

Maybe get a Marathon for the main car, and something like a Scenera for the others ?

maybe when you buy the car seat, mention to the cashier you need it to fit in 3 different designed cars and if its not suitable are you entitled for a refund/ exchange. They can either say yes or no. Im sure these places are flexible because not all seats are suitable for all cars, good luck :) .

My parents and grandmother EACH had car seats fitted in them PERMANENTLY - during the 70's and 80's while me and my cousins needed to be secured in the backseats.

Talk to Halfords and see what they suggest. The staff are helpful, and will take the time to help you fit the seat(s) as well.
