I am incredibly frightened of pocket lint. I know that this sounds strange and it's serious for me because where I work, I have people that give me change and such from their pockets and I almost have a panic attack when lint is included. Is there anyone who can offer some advice for dealing with this?

I feel that the lint is too personal and it grosses and horrifies me to touch it.

this is called object phobia, a kind of specific phobia.
you should really see a psychologist for it,it is simple and can be treated by various ways(drugs, psychotherapy),successive approximation or shaping of behavior will be a good start.

Face it heard on.
Look at it. Touch it. Deal with it.

Face your fear directly and realize that fear is false evidence appearing real.
