What are the wedding blues?

This is very common, to feel depressed after the wedding. After you wake up, you realize that the past whole year (or 2) of planning and excitement build up is now over. Your big magical day has passed and you are now back in reality washing dirty socks and doing dishes. It's a shocker to some.

Some people also have doubts, but most people have dealt with those before actually getting married.

If you're realistic about your partner and your relationship, and what to expect as husband and wife, you will adjust in time. Some couples take their honeymoon later, to give themselves an adjustment period and something to look forward to.

When you come down off the high of the preperations for the wedding
Being the center of attention at the wedding
the constant buzz of the plans
the kind words of strangers
the rush of seeing all your friends and family gather
lots of women have dreamed of being married since they were playing dress up at age 4.

so anywhoo, after the honeymoon is over
and you roll over and say "damn, I am going to spend the rest of my life with this.....
and you think
maybe I married to soon
maybe I settled
