The Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, India's premier research and training institute on administration and public policy, is located in Mussoorie, 2000 meters above sea level, in the foothills of Himalayas. The AIS campus is located in the suburb of Bruce in the Australian Capital Territory. The campus is located in the Belconnen satellite town region of Canberra’s western suburbs. Surrounding areas include Aranda, Macquarie, Kaleen and O’Connor. The campus can be accessed by either Ginninderra Drive or Hayden Drive.
The campus grounds are bordered by Ginninderra Drive, Leverrier Crescent, Battye Street, Mastermann Street and the Bruce/O’Connor Ridge Canberra Nature Reserve.
