If there were a god would he believe in you or me or any of us, or would he even care?

Yeah well what good is a belief in god if it doesn't include the belief that the god believes in you. Right? So if you believe in your belief I guess you believe in his too.

But if there really were a god, would he? C'mon, can we think logically on this?

Those of you who are caught up in the emotion of it all -- don't strain yourselves, trying to think logically.

I think if there were a God, He wouldn't concern Himself with a few obscure carbon based life forms off in the middle of nowhere.

As a person who believes in God, I can say he definitely believes in us, in who we are and more importantly who we can be. If one believes in God then one must naturally assume there is a plan. In that you must also believe that we came voluntarily and doubt that would be the case, if in the preexistence that Both God and Satan were betting against us completing our tasks successfully. I also believe that if you suffer doubt so strongly that the intentions and faith that the Almighty has in you is in question that this is the work of the adversary who has been granted the ability to tempt you but is however, prevented in forcing you to choose a destructive path which can only be walked on by you.

In conclusion I would suggest that if you REALLY want to know if exists. . .ask him. Ask him by name in faith that you will receive an answer and He will. Once done the other questions will fall into place.

If it helps, I believe in you and I don't even know you.

This question is easy to answer and in a logical sense. Yes, if there is a God, he would indeed believe in us. As long as our definitions of "belief" and "God" match up. To believe meaning in the sense to be accepted as true or real. God is a being conceived as the perfect, omnipotent, omniscient originator and ruler of the universe. If there is a God, then he does believe in us because he is the creator of us. If you make a paper airplane, do you not believe in that paper airplane?

From your question you seem to be an atheist! If you don't believe in God, why ask this silly question? I think (and I am sure amny would share my thinking) that whether you believe in God or not, He is always there to look after you. God does not have to convince you about His presence nor He expects you to believe in Him. There is no logic involved in this, nor any emotions, nor you have to be religeous! It's just that you should have belief.

LORD, Lord and lord, LORD God and Lord God, god and gods.

Duet.10:17 For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

2Cor.4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 2Cor.11:14 Satan transforms himself into and angel of light. 1Pet.5:8 Satan is an adversary, as a roaring lion, seeking to devour. John 8:44 Satan the devil caused every death from Adam.
1Cor.15:22-28,51-53;
As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall [ ALL ] all be made alive.

I can only relate to my own personal relationship with God. He loves me so much that He sent His son to die for my sins. He does care for you and I. The question is "Do we care enough for Him?" Again, that's a personal decision, and I can't answer that for someone else. God defies man's "logic" because we are told this: "Let us believe by faith and not by sight". Either we believe or we don't.

Please read my words carefully:
If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...
If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...
So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!

Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:
If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!

Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?

My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:

Do you know how to play safe?
Non-believer's case:
If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...

Believer's case:
If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...

Now you know how to play-safe, in case you're not convinced?

If there were God judging us on good and bad things we do, who's judging God? I do hope there is God who can help the earth now. But many a time, I know there isn't.

If you painted a portrait, would you 'believe' in it?

Love is not retributional nor is it obligatory to love in return. Love is given voluntarily, from the self, of the self, for the self. Love is a gift, not a 'payment' of a 'debt'...
