gum bleeding, sad to say is an early sign of gum problems which they call it gingivitis, main cause of it is not effective oral hygiene which i define as not brushing or flossing often. the best way to get rid of it is the word FBF which stands for floss brush and floss. coz mainly brushing is for your teeth and flossing is for your gums. you have to consider flossing on a regular basis coz flossing plays a big role in your oral hygiene, their the ones who hold your teeth into place. and one more thing flossing helps you remove some of the food particles in between of your teeth that might cause cavities or bad breath. when you brush use a soft bristled tooth brush and do a circular motion in your teeth and also brush along the gumlines. this way you can massage the gums .

Gums don't always bleed because they are infected. Some people have sensitive gums which do bleed easier. My dad and I both have that problem.Sometimes using a softer bristle brush helps.
But it depends how long you've had it.I have had my problem almost my entire life.If yours just started showing up though, then you need to check up with a dentist cause then it probably isn't sensitive gums.

Gums bleed because they are infected. You must floss your teeth before brushing and then brush your teeth then use mouth wash. You must do all three then this will give you healthier gums and stop the bleeding

You undoubtedly have a buildup of tarter and plaque on your teeth near the gum line. Better see a dentist and have a cleaning.
This at times (quite often, in fact) has to do with poor dental cleaning with a toothbrush; however, it can be caused by a natural buildup of these byproducts of saliva. I, personally, have to have my teeth cleaned four times a year otherwise the bleeding become excessive.

NOOB,
IF YOUR GUMS BLEED EVERY TIME YOU BRUSH, THERE CAN BE SEVERAL REASONS FOR THIS.
1.YOUR GUMS HAVE INFLAMMATION (AKA,GINGIVITIS) SEE A DENTIST FOR PROPER CLEANING OF THE TEETH/GUMS.
2.YOUR BRUSH BRISTLES ARE TOO HARD. SOFT BRISLTES ONLY.
3. YOU USE TOO MUCH PRESSUREWHEN BRUSHING.
INSTEAD OF FLOSSING (WHICH CAN CUT YOU GUMS IF DONE IMPROPERLY) USE A WATERPIK MACHINE TO FLUSH OUT AND GENTLY MASSAGE THE GUMS.

Start flossing daily, because your gums will become less sensitive if you floss.
Also, dont brush near your gums....that might be causing the bleeding.
