Many men have met and fallen in love with Russian women and built happy homes and families. But there is no such thing as a "mail order bride". There are no "catalogues" that you place an order from and a woman shows up 6-10 days later. Meeting and falling in love with a Russian woman is a long (and expensive) process that involves a lot of electronic communication and letter writing, in addition to several visits to Russia on your part. You must establish a long-term loving relationship BEFORE you begin the torturous process of acquiring a US visa for her.

On a serious note, yes, you get to pick which brides you want to get to know. Google all the Russian Bride sites to get a good selection. There are steps on each website that tell you how to register and get in touch.
Be prepared to do some searching. At lot of these women simply want to come to the US/Canada, and will pretend to like you when they don't. However, some may really desire to find their "dream" American husband. You will have to see which girls you really think you have a connection with, and don't expect to find that one right away.

yes you have a choice,don't look for one on the dating sites,as you will get screwed before she or he gets here,which won't happen unless you send her or him money,which you will never see her or him again...Look on line for a agency that will help you on this,they have pics that you can choose from but it will cost you money up front,once you make contact and write,you will have a great expense to go over there and meet her or him,she or he won't have any money so be per pare to pay her or his way over here also...you will need deep pockets my friend...... If you do this,In a few years from now,you will be saying why didn't i just go out behind the barn and shoot myself in the head........

there is a magazine and a web site for ordering brides...lots are skilled and yes you can see and pick your own brides
but
are you so bad or something that you can not attract a woman on your own merits and you have to buy one?

Why would you want to marry someone you don't even know?
If you marry her, and it doesn't work out, depending on where you live she could get half of your stuff. Feel like losing a house? How about half of your retirement? Thaink about it.
Date someone and get to know them BEFORE ever marrying them.
