This year the traditional gifts are linen or silk. I can't seem to think of anything to get my husband for our anniversary that is made out of linen or silk. I don't really want to get him the usual stuff, robe, tie, underwear.....boring....boring....boring. Can anyone think of anything I could get him? Something different..... Also, it must be just one item and it must cost between $40-$60. Thanks

linen or silk? why don't you commission a portrait/painting? the best canvas for oil painting is linen! ;) I have information to buy a true hand oil painting with giclee price. (painting from photo or portrait from photo...can be any famous painting, celebrity poster, your wedding picture or your hubby self portrait)let me know if you are interested ;)

I absolutely love the idea of a beautiful silk tie, and it sure doesn't have to be boring if you wear it like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. Remember...she wore the tie and only the tie and posed with it at the table when he walked in the room and said nice tie, and she replied I got it for you...now that's not boring and could be a great start to a romantic night! I've been married 14 years...worked for me!

I don't know how much this costs but... silk sheets or better yet... why not a silk blindfold and some silk to tie him up with?

So far, so good...those are all pretty neat ideas you've been getting. But I do wish more menfolks would speak up and help Ms. Shirl. She needs inputs on how to please her man; who better to help her than you guys out there? So write in your answers now.
Okay, Shirl, if you can take in one more suggestion from a female - here's my 10cents worth: How about buying a roll of silk ribbon (of your favorite color or his) and completely wrap your bare self with it? You are the gift! Sexy, huh? And definitely inexpensive!

you wrapped in silk lingerie or a silk robe it is your anniversary after all. make it special. he comes home to a candlelight dinner that you are serving in just the lingerie or robe with nothing underneath
