The place is relatively inexpensive, the people are helpful, most still speak some English, but I did not like how everyone was was rushing around (what a difference from Macau). When you get to the airport. buy yourself a booklet "The Official Hong Kong Guide" published by the HK Tourist Association. If that is not available any more (got mine when it still belonged to GB), get the HK directory which is full of maps. Take a tour of HK which any hotel is offering to see the sights which you normally wouldn't think of going to including a boat tour of the harbor. If you decide to stay on the the HK island, be sure to experience a ride on the 100 year old (including the tracks) double decker trams. the cost is only 2 HK$.

according to my friends, Disneyland in HK is not fully completed yet. so most of the games are more for children. so if you are not children and had been to othere Disneyland, this place might not interest you.
Toilet is not for public use for most shopping ctr. so if you need to go to the loo, is best you buy something from one of the shop and then borrow toilet key from them. This is what i encounter 1 year ago. but maybe calture had change...

jester's reply is all about it. I just love the food.... and great discounts esp during the end of feb, august....as low as 70% off! Not to forget, Disneyland...!

concrete jungle, cheap shopping, cheap eating, expensive hotels, easy getting around, english language comunication good, cant find Bruce !

disneyland is very wonderful, you should try it..
the shopping places are also nice..
