I have been severely depressed, anxious and have had a relapse with my eating disorder. It is so bad right now it is ruining every aspect of my life. I have no health insurance and am not eligible for Medicaid because I had to drop an insurance policy voluntarily so I have to wait a few more months before I am eligible. I am so bad I feel I might need hospitalization. Has anyone ever gotten emergency medical insurance for mental health reasons? I am so desparate. Thank you.

It depends on what state you live in.
Check with your county health care

Check with the county mental health facility.

Sometimes there are services that no one seems to know about. So, you need to keep looking for help.

Don't give up

You MUST get your treatment NOW whether you have any insurance or not. Go to any good hospital that has a 'mental health ward' or professional working for them, and have a 'long talk' about your depression, anxiety, and your 'eating disorder relapse.' Since you have 'mental health issues' there should be someone in that hospital (any good hospital that you go to) who can 'help you with the finances' to pay for it or to get 'insurance' to cover any treatment you need. GET HELP NOW!

Yeah call the local docs office or clinic. Our home clinics office has some kind of special thing {insusrance} for those that don't qualify for other stuff but doesn't have insurance either. And not enough money to pay for the visits themselves. Don't know till you ask...
