I, for one, can't sleep unless I don't have caffeine after 2 p.m. And some people can't have it at all, or in very small doses.

It seems to me that it would be a very sensible thing for food products to have to list whether or not they contain caffeine and other stimulants.

YES! I have checked the ingredients and it doesn't say most of the time. As far as I know, only Coca Cola lists caffeine in their ingredients.

And I also do realize that some products will state caffeine free but the majority don't state anything.

I don't take caffeine at all because of the stimulant effect. I find that if it doesn't state "caffeine free" it has caffeine. Just to be on the safe side, I don't use it if it doesn't say "caffeine free." We should start a petition to the USDA to get that put on labels! They put everything else on there why not caffeine info?

caffeine can be disguised in the forms of guarana, chocolate or cocoa, coffee, or tea varieties: white (very little), green, black (breakfast, pekoe), oolong, mate, et al but you should also be aware of other stimulants like ginseng, taurine, or ribose...
