I have a cat who is diabetic and doesn't like to have food reheated. They don't make his special canned food in smaller cans, so I give him a small jar of Gerber 2nd foods chicken or turkey for a variety. He has to eat Purinia DM, so I thought I would be nice since he can't have GOOD Holistic food and suffers with that crap. I don't want to puree my own because like I said, he hates things reheated, but I just bought 24 cans for 16 bucks (not bad because they were on sale at Target) and the checker was annoyed because I had so many jars. Is there anywhere I can order in bulk. I did a search and came up blank. Costco (that's all we have around me...no Sam's or anything else) only sells variety packs with veggies and stuff. He has to have either chicken or Turkey. There must be somewhere....where do the stored get it? I love my kitty and I want him to have the best, there has to be a better way! Help!! Please!! Thanks in advance!

If Safeway.com delivers to your area, they have the Gerber 2nd Foods chicken dinner for 84 cents a can. They deliver in Arizona, California, Maryland, Oregon, Virginia, Washington and Washington D.C.

Amazon just appears to have the mixed dinners - chicken with pears, vegetable chicken and chicken with apples. It doesn't appear to be available on Walmart.com or Target.com, either.

You can also try calling Gerber at 800-4-GERBER to see if they take special orders or can tell you where you might be able to buy it in bulk.

If all else fails, buy it at Target anyway and tell the checker to stuff it if they don't like it.
