who is truly and sincerely wants to get to know me.

Guess what? I'm scared. Yep. Scared. Its funny, I don't know its game of what but the guy that I'm talking to now for about 2 weeks haven't asked for a booty call yet. Since I'm use to being lied to, I expect that everyone is like that too. Well I called him Saturday morning around 9:30. All sorts of thoughts were going on in my head. I was thinking he probably had some "company" and he cut his cell phone off. When dialed his number, his phone rung. Then I was thinking well he probably have his ringer off. So I was like I'll leave a message. On the 3rd ring I heard hello and good morning to you. I paused and said hey good morning to you too. I was going to leave you a message and he started laughing. Not only did I have my foot in my mouth I also had my ankle too. So to "save face" so to speak and I din't want to be wrong, I was thinking, well he probably just got home or the girl left earlier in the AM. It really shouldn't matter but I guess I'm trying to hard to protect myself. At any rate, I'm still somewhat in shock that I could be 100% wrong about him.

My question. Do men in general put in a lot time, work, and effort with a woman to get her to trust him just to have sex with her? Its a lot of women out there who'll give it up quick. So if a man is only after sex, how early will he make his move?

don't start thinking negatively to begin with, there may not have even been a woman there.. just take things slow, if he peaces out then that is what he was looking for in you

I guess it just depends on the guy. When the move comes on too quickly then you start to have thoughts as to what they are after. All you can do is give them a chance and go from there. This may make you feel better but right now i am scared as well. I tend to think in a logical way. This makes it difficult to be able to trust as to whether it is just a game with them or the real thing. If a guy ever laughs at you again simply say i am so sorry but i do have the wrong number and the wrong guy as well. Hang up.

It's funny to me that you are so caught up in wondering when he'll make what you call his move when sex between two people is usually consensual in a relationship. You act as if you don't have anything to do with it. You are one half of the relationship. Are you trying to give all the power over to him? Is that what you want in a relationship? If it is, well that's okay I guess, but just understand what you are doing. Also, if you behave towards him with suspicion it will reflect on the relationship, trust me on that. You need to relax sweetie! Get to know him before you judge him and as far as sex, what comes naturally to the two of you will be up to the two of you not just him. If you keep looking at it that way and react too soon, then it's only giving yourself room to be the victim and to blame him if it all falls apart, when in truth, he's not in it alone. Think about it.

i have felt this way before.... now not all men are after sex... most but not all...
if he is after sex and that's it, he is going to be doing nothing but making the move pushing to see when and how soon he could get you to give it up....
if your not looking for that, you can automatically pick up the signs.... but if you make a man work and keep working to get you by the time he does, he will have already fallen so deeply in love with you, it's senseless to sleep with another women...
