from work early to spend one last night with him? I work 3rd shift and its almost 1am where I am. He will be getting home from his job in about an hour. It was a mutual agreement that he moves out. We love each other but have issues we cant seem to work out. Do you think it will be worse for me to leave work early to spend one last night with him, or am I prolonging the agony? My heart is breaking into a million pieces.

If the relationship isn't going to work, cut it off. Perhaps agree to hang out as friends if you can find the time... what are these issues? Sometimes an absence will make people more willing to negotiate when they realize what they had. Otherwise, let it go and try to get on with your life. As long as there's a chance, you won't be able to let him go.

If you know that deep down in your heart that your "last encounter" might cause additional problems, I would just go to a friends house.
If your worried about your stuff being taken away from your place, then you should go home.
If you feel that you need to talk to him for the last time to try to work things out, you should go home.

One of your issues might be that you guys barely see eachother or spend a lot of time apart. If thats the case, work it out and change your work life.

yes go home from work early but tilll him ur heart is breaking into a million pieces and that u thought him moving out was a good ideal but now u dont and talk to him about couple counseling and if he agrees then go to couple counseling they can help u two.

You're prolonging the agony. Just let him go and move on. I know, I know, easier said than done, but take some time to concentrate on yourself. Being single is fun, enjoy it while you can!
