Does using sun screen helps you NOT tan? or makes you tan easily?

any recommendations on what sunscreen or sunblock lotion will not make me tan. or will help me with not tanning.

sunscreen helps you not tan suntanning oils help you tan like bananna boat that works well but they still have spf in them to protect you from becoming burnt

Sunblock just protects your skin from UV rays-I dont think it affects tanning much. From your question, it sounds to me like you dont want to tan. If you tan easily all I can say is wear longer sleeves, pants, and a hat when you're in the sun. If I'm wrong and you do want to tan but still protect your skin, they have sunblock that helps you tan while still protecting your skin. I forget what its called but Ive seen it at Wal-Mart.

It will prevent you from getting very tan, but you can still get tan by wearing like lets say sp15, but you sun screen protects your skin from UVB rays so you wont get that tan.
