My dog stretches her front legs out straight and pushes them against me any time I say the word "love". We started that by her sitting and her putting her front legs on me and I would say " I love you, Tatum" and pull at her legs.

My dog like to take me by the hand and walk me over to the couch and have me sit next to him and pet him. Then he flops onto his back with a huge sigh and sucks my hand while I rub his belly. No need to tell me I have a strange dog.

Cheyeanne listens to me when I talk to her she is a little cuddle bug as well and loves to just love on you then curl up and fall asleep she hasnt been able to curl up so much in my lap now that I have a baby and I breastfeed but she still crawls up from her bed onto mine in the morning and just cuddles. That and I know she would protect me no matter what happens and she has the uptmost trust respect love and devotion. Sometimes it isnt even things the dogs do its just all the teeny things.

And my dog Blu, Blu was abused by his previous family before I got him and he trusts me more than anybody else in this world and I know he would do anything to protect me and anything to protect my son. Blu dropped into my lap when things in life were rough and he was what I needed he sits there wants to cuddle or just be near me he highfives shakes and listens and I think its because he knows I'll never hurt him.

And Last Bud Chey and Blu's puppy ( Blu got fixed today =[ poor baby and Cheyeanne and the puppy are getting fixed in two weeks ) just comes running knows my smell and knows that when he was teeny tiny ( hes 9 weeks old ) I used to take him everywhere and he just gets an entirely different look when he see's me then when he sees someone else. Dogs are amazing and are great to have one ... or three =] love you and they all are so different and unique but you know they love you

When we first got our beagle she was really afraid when we brought her home because she wasn't with her mother anymore... and it didn't help that I had to bathe her that day (she was a surprise for my mom, and Abby was dirty from living outside so I had to clean her up before mom got home)... so Abby spent the day lying on the couch in towels and blankets next to me and after that she'd always come and lie with me when she took naps. I would sit indian style on the basement floor to play Xbox and she'd come curl up on my legs (which really hurt after a while)... but unfortunately she grew up and grew out of the cuddling stage.

My American Eskimo will sit next to me and paw me, but she just wants me to pet her... I think it's more about her than about how she loves me. She doesn't really do anything... she does pee on the carpet when we come home because dogs for some reason think that's a sign of respect... when really you're just angry that you have to clean it up.

My Sampson climbs up onto my lap and puts his nose right under my chin. He'll just sit there for as long as I let him, wagging his tail and sniffing my neck. It's also obvious he loves me when I come home--he gets so excited, he jumps all over the place and wags EVERYTHING! Very cute.

They follow me around the house, gaze at me longingly, get underfoot, lean against me whenever possible, push their beautiful faces into my hands whenever they can reach them and are alway frantically joyous when I rejoin them after an absence.

When I start to stir in the morning, Jazzi jumps up and lays across me, licks my chin and then lays her head down and looks into my eyes with her big browns!

Jake comes and leans up along side me and rubs his head to mine.

They are always excited to go for a ride. But when I must leave, they always give me an extremely warm welcome! (Kids report that often Jazzi cries at the door waiting for me to return... awwwww......) When the kids take them out for a bit, they RUN in to greet me as if they'd been gone for days...

Jazzi is always jumping into my arms or in my lap. Jake is a little chubby for that one... but he will psych himself up enough to hop up on the couch next to me... (it takes him a couple hops to get there... LOL!!)

In case you can't tell.... I LOVE THEM BACK!!!! ; )

Aren't pets GREAT companions???

My boxer will crawl up beside me on the couch and lay her sweet little head on my shoulder and lick my cheek! (She gets whatever she wants when she does that! LOL)
