How to pamper a girl on the first date???

Question

I recently met a really nice girl on Craigslist and, after chatting with her for a while, we have decided to meet latter this week.

During our conversations, she revealed that very few of her previous boyfriends have never really attempted to satisfy her needs and that she was looking for a guy who would attempt to cater to both her emotional and physical needs.

During one of these conversations, I promised to pamper her and, while I'd try to do this for any girl who was nice enough to actually date me, she is definitely holding me to this promise.

I certainly intend to keep this promise but am not really as experienced as I should be dating girls who I don't already know as a friend, and therefore know how to please.

I was wondering if any of you might have any suggestions on how to pamper a girl who I am just about to meet in person for the first time???

The more specific the suggestions the better.

I would be very careful. The fact that she is holding you to "catering" to her needs, throws up a red flag. It's very possible that after reading your messages to her, she knows that you are insecure and not overly self-confident (welcome to the club of insecurities and low self confidence).

It just makes me think that she is trying to manipulate you into thinking that she is doing you a favor because she "was nice enough to actually date" you.

You sound like a good, honest person. Being unsure of yourself or having low self esteem can make life difficult and lonely at times, but don't sell out your happiness just to be with someone or anyone. You deserve better than that.

Have you ever told her what you expect of a date? Like you expect to be treated with respect and honesty?

I hope I'm wrong about her, but I saw myself in your question and hate to have you go through a painful relationship at the hands of a selfish person.

Yikes. Well there are any number of things you could do, but this early in the game I think it's important to be your normal self. If it's not good enough for her, she's not good enough for you. If it's not normal for you to completely pamper a girl, you won't be able to keep it up for long.

Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but she sounds extremely needy if she's offering that information so quickly. Maybe bending over backward for her on the first date is a fun way to win her over, but if you have to bend over backward for another year or ten or fifty, you're going to develop a bad back.

If you have the money buy her a necklace and a bracelet, fresh roses, a love note that says on the envelope'READ AT HOME', and maybe bring a camera to take photos of your first date with her, and wen they are developed, give them to her and keep some for yourself! Well, you don't want to go overboard on gifts and such. For a first date, just make sure you keep good eye contact and really listen to what she is saying and be a gentleman. Open doors for her, pull out her chair, etc,etc, etc.
Take your time getting to know her She might not be your cup of tea.

I consider pampering simple things like brining her flowers, opening the door, taking her to a nice resturant, tell her how pretty she is.....don't do too much too fast.

the best thing i can think of is talk to her closest girl friend chances are she tells her everything...everyone is different for for me simply dinner and a night looking over the city under the stars is good enough for me
