Don't be that desperate. You're a young man. If you don't love her and she doesn't love you, don't do something that you should be doing with a person that you do love. Spend time with people around your own age. Make an effort to find a female that is closer to your age, who doesn't have kids since you don't feel you can take on that responsibility, someone you will love.
Sometimes it's difficult to separate the sexual feelings from the love feelings, when you're 18. I agree with her that if you do have sex, you will think you are in love with her. And when things don't work out, because she breaks your heart, you will lose that best friendship.
Interesting and odd that your best friend is a 27 year old female with 2 kids. It would be good for you to find some good friends your own age.

Dude ask your pastor and ask God this is terible situation. I fell it would mess it up because obviously she got banged alot and your not the only one so be careful I would wait until she makes the move if she never does so be it sex may mess up ur life GO TO SCHOOL FOCUS and think about ur wife that is out here she has a ready made family r u ready for that THINK ABOUT IT

Love doesn't obey any form of logic. So thinking you can't fall in love with her because of her kids won't stop you.
Some people have successful friends with benefits relationships.

sex with no love is lust. and frankly, it's disgusting that you would have sex with a person you're not in love with.
yes, it'll ruin your friendship. cause guys can have sex with no feelings of love, but for women it's different. although some deny it, they are still affected. i hope you're not the father of those two other kids..
