Don't you hate it when a relationship is over. And you don't want it to be. But, you know it has run it's course. My 14 year relationship just ended. I don't want it to be over. But deep down I know it has to, it is time to move on. But I am really sad about it. But I gave it my all, so I have no regrets. What do you think?

You approach it with a good and necessary attitude. A lot of times we want to hold onto these relationships because of what they WERE, not what they are. You'll continue to be sad about it, I imagine. Memories will kind of follow you around and you'll long for many of those good times. But that's a needed part of a breakup. Sadness isn't supposed to tell you you're making a mistake. It's needed in order to validate the good you had so that you'll be stronger as you move on. Best of luck to ya.

Its scary to be alone, especially after 14 years, but sometimes the love ended along time ago, the only thing left was the comfort of just having familiar face near. If you gave it your best, be proud of that. And say to your self NEXT!!!

Yes. I know that feeling all to well. It will get better with time. Stay busy and try not to think about what was. Good luck to you.
