Are all men insecure about expressing love?

My boyfriend and I are in a difficult relationship right now. We can't see each other that much because, my car broke down and his was stolen. When we do see each other things are fine, but when we are apart he acts strange sometimes. He goes a few days without calling me and then says that he was too busy to talk to me. He says that he is going home and then later I find out that him and some friends went to a bar, and one time he ran in to his ex-girlfriend. I am just worried because he talks about wanting to spend the rest of his life with me, but yet sometimes he just seems to not want to talk to me. He tells me that he loves me and that he misses me. I don't doubt that he cares because he buys me gifts and makes it a point to see me at least once a week. I just think that he is insecure or maybe he doesn't really love me.

i know that in my case, i look at the clock and wait for my girl to call me on her breaks and at lunch. can't imagine going days without talking to her. when you love someone, just the sound of their voice can hold you over or make your day. to me, seems like there is another in the picture. better hurry up and solve your transportation woes real quick! you could be losing him right now. could be that you have given him enough rope to hang himself and you just haven't tightened the noose yet. you need to do some investigating to find out the real truth. don't be no fool! how can i say i want to spend my life with you and go days not conversing with you? just doesn't seem right! how could you come to the conclusion that he's insecure? sounds like you are and for good reason.

I don't think he is insecure. He sounds more self absorbed.

not all men but personally i am, so you can try to make him feel more secure , if that is his problem...
