this is really strange.... but i think i may like my drama teachers son. i know... it sounds grody, but he is REALLY nice, and cute, and funny, and i've known him for a while.
and also, he's like 3 years older than me.
i know that's not very much... but at the age that i am now [13] it seems like more, concidering he is [16 and] in highschool, while i'm still in middle school.
do you know what i should do?

Why is it grody, everyone is someones son. The big issue here is does he like you. If he doesnt you're kind of just stuck with a one sided crush thing. The other problem is he's a little ahead of you on maturity level (not much though) so he's going to be into different things than you.
5-6 years from now though, age isnt going to matter one bit. Your just at a balancing point right now where it probably wont quite work yet. But you know, its your life so if you gotta do it, you gotta do it. Just make sure he feels the same way about you.

go for it what do you have to loose if you like him and he likes you don't worry about the age thing every couple in my family are several years apart if you don't feel right because of the age than wait a while but if you really like him don't let him slip away

well girl i dont think age is important cuz its just like 3 more yrs but you need to make sure he likes you too n u also need to know for sure wat he feels for you too so u dont get thinks twisted you know wat i mean? well good luck with him
