I'm 25. I've been dating a girl for a month now. I like her but I haven't really dated anyone before. I'm really shy when it comes to these things. We've kissed and snuggled and stuff (nothing crazy) but for the most part it feels like she's initiating it all. Then when I try ti comes out all awkward. My friends tell me that if I don't start pulling some moves she's liable to think I'm not interested. I just feel like i"m not sure what to do sometimes and wish it'd be so easy to just ask her or let her know that i"m just not experienced. Is it better to just tell her upfront or wait untilI'm in a situation where i'll need to justify my shyness?

I appreciate what everyone wrote. I've recently realized that I'm worrying over every little thing, so much to the point that it's making things unenjoyable. From now on I'mjust going to enjoy the situation I'm in and not try to analyze everythign. Ive decided I'll tell her only if need be and when the time is right.

i think id let her know. if she doesnt want to be with you just because youre inexperienced then she isnt worth your time. otherwise, yeah, she'll think youre not interested.

The sooner she knows you will be honest with her, the sooner you two can have a real, lasting relationship. So, if you like her a lot, tell her. I just re-read your question and now I wonder, do you like her a lot or what? If so, look in the mirror every morning and say "[her name], I really like you a lot". If it doesn't feel truthful, then be a good guy and stop wasting her time.

No need to verbalize that kind of thing. She obviously is in to you. Don't overthink things. If you do what makes you feel confident, then she'll respond positively. If you fret and worry and feel like you are hiding a terrible secret then she will sense that. Self confidence usually equates to sexual charisma. Enjoy the moment and relax a little.

You need to tell her. I know its going to be hard but girls are really understanding about this kind of thing and not only will she understand, she'll really appreciate your honesty. The other thing is she's more than likely picked up on these things and is wondering if you like her or not.

Girls love it when a guy is volnerable, trust me ;) You just have to let her know to get the benefit of it.

Wait until you think it needs to be explained. If she seems annoyed, I think you should tell her your not that experienced when your having those moments w/kissing/hugging, etc so she understands better. Your friends are right, you need to show more interest in her.

i think you should just tell her upfront so that those misunderstandings don't start in the first place. better to answer a question before the question is even asked. plus, if she did have those misunderstandings she will be hurt, but if you explain them now, then she won't have to worry.

You need to tell her you're interested but shy, because they are right if i was her I'd start thinking that you weren't interested or something was wrong with me, she will reallllly appriciate your honesty, unless she's not like every other woman in america

It's always best to be upfront in a relationship. It creates a strong connection.

I think you should tell her. If she has a problem with it then your better off letting her go, but I think she'll surprise you and be very understanding.
