There are ways to make it look like XP, but I run 2000 Professional and I am proud of it. I have used XP, and it crashes, and nothing really works like they say it will. But to make it look like XP, go to themeworld, and simply pick out what you want. You can change the start button, but I would be carefull changing it on 2000. The one button you got to have, is start. You can use the ord from Vista transfomation pack, but I would not run that pack on 2000. Run is on something else, copy the orb to a zip stick, and you can put it in easier, and safer.
I am sticking with 2000 pro, old faithfull.

i'm positive it is going to run XP. I absolutely have placed XP on quite a few computer's that had Win98 so that you need to be reliable to pass. There is no free transformation pack. If you want to upgrade, you must purchase a legal copy of Windows XP. If you illegally download it then your copy will not pass the WGA tests and you will not be allowed to download updates or patches.

go to a p2p site like limewire or piratebay and look for windows xp with serial key. theres hundreds of them on p2p sites.
if u just want to upgrade from 2000 to xp then ull need an upgrade cd which are more difficult to find on web. easier to just download xp pro cd with key and use that.

you can't convert 2000 to XP.
You need to buy XP.
