The first time the world was cleaned by water and God's people and animals were placed in an ark for protection. The final and last cleansing will be by fire so God will have to take us away to heaven while the cleaning is taking place and then we will come down to a clean earth as it was meant to be in the garden of Eden. The idea of a fire that never goes out came about when the pagans and Christians united. It is not scriptural. God loves us enough that if we would not be happy with the heavenly lifestyle He certaintly would not make us go. We will just be burned with the cleansing of the earth but not on and on...everlasting is until it is complete. Mmm

The only unforgivable sin is rejection of the Holy Spirit.

No one on this Earth has only sinned once, but once you accept the blood of Jesus as a covering for your sins, eternal punishment is no longer a problem.

Jesus died once for all sin. Accepting, believing, that is all it takes. He is not going to come back to Earth every time someone sins and get on the cross again. All it takes is faith. Paul said faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

If you can see something then there is no reason for faith. Lack of faith is the main reason most people reject God and His Son.

Not by works, lest any man should boast.

Sorry folks but you can do good all your life and still not attain Heaven. It takes faith.

Apostasy in the Bible, means falling away from God. To fall away from God means that at some point you had to be near to God. Read Rev. 3:14 - 19 for an example. You must be referring to Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, the rejection of Christ which is the only unforgiven sin.

Because, we are all born with a sinful nature because of Adam's disobedience. God does not allow sin into Heaven. Therefore, He came to the earth to pay for our sins in the form of the man Jesus, God's only begotten Son.

Acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Savior and repentance of sin, which means to turn away from sin, is what is required for the eternal reward of everlasting life.

I don't think you do. I also don't believe all sins are equal to others and the bible states that several times (although I am not christian but this is just a flaw in most protestants viewpoints) OT actually says no murderers will make it to heaven and Jesus says that anyone who blasphemes against the holy spirit won't either, however how could one weigh eternity (as a human) for something that someone did for 84 years. (the length of a sinful life) The number 10 to the 3000000 power is nothing compared to eternity. In other words eternity in hell doesn't exist for what you do in this life. That makes sense, and I promise you god makes more sense than any of us can hope to.

Apostacy - is the defection from one's religion.

We are but a speck of dust in the Universe.
Something could NOT have been around forever.
If your God would a benevolent he cure this insane world of super rich to abject poverty of barely sustain food and water, and rampant disease.
It makes no since that there would be a builder of a huge Universe take any special attention to us. These basic archaic beliefs that has, for the most part, led us into war

You don't. You receive eternal consequences for eternal choices. If you choose not to accept the escaped from an already condemned world, then you choose to accept the same fate that the world already has.
Jesus did not come into the world to condemn it, but to SAVE it. It was already condemned.
John 3:18
"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. R17 16 "For God so loved the world, R18 that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. 19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his deeds have been carried out in God."

Apostasy/rejection/blasphemy is supposed to be a sin, because it eliminates one's fear of a God, and may also spread the disbelief. It was made unforgivable to further prevent it. Apostatisers don't need to worry about the promised punishment, since we don't believe in it anyway.

Some people who answered don't seem to know what apostasy means. Apostasy: the state of having rejected your religious beliefs or your political party or a cause (often in favor of opposing beliefs or causes)

Apostasy in regards to God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit is said to be unforgivable in the Bible.

Read your bible. There is no eternal punishment. The wicked shall be consumed (destroyed) by fire and the saved will walk on their ashes. Hell as referred to in the Bible means the grave.

Ezekiel 18:20
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

Bible wants to kill love Children
Bible wants to kill adulterous population of Bible Believers. Adulterous population has substantial ratio in Bible Believers.
Revelation 2:22-23
"Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works."

If anyone thinks Biblical Jesus represents only a peaceful loving soul, then think again. For an act of adultery, Bible would kill innocent children for the adultery of others; hardly fair justice, love, or the concern for human beings.

Some apologists claim that "children" refers to the followers of a cult of Jezebel and not to children birthed from Jezebel. However, if this proved the case, the situation would appear even more horrific, for a cult of believers could number in the dozens, hundreds, thousands, or millions. The deaths of these multitude of cult believers (which would include children within its membership) would only make the moralistic problem far more atrocious.

According to Islamic source the Jesus pbuh was very much compassionate to humanity. We do not believe in corrupted and interpolated bible.

There are more than 41% love children in American population. If you believe in bible. The half of christian population will be killed.....
