It started out great...We dated for about 2 months then he asked me to be his girlfriend. After that we made it to 1 month. Somewhere in there I started to do something that no woman should ever do! I was calling him more than he called me..i made all the plans. I was kind of annoying. I think he lost interest because of this. I don't normally do this, but it is very rare that i meet a good man, and I was scared I would lose him so i got a little weird. The other night we were supposed to go see a movie. I called him and he said we were still going and he would call back becuz he was busy...he never did so stupid me called him. He didn't answer and never called me back. That was 3 days ago! I am trying so hard not to call. I know I have some to blame, but he should have called me right? I don't want it to be over, I was starting to fall in love with him, and he was a good man. Does this even stand a chance? Should I try and make it work, or just give him his space and whatever happens happens? I feel like if it is over, I want to hear it from him.

You have become slightly obsessed with him, and that is understandable if he is a great guy. I have been in the same boat, and it cost me the relationship.

Call him, apologize, and tell him exactly what you told us. Just don't tell him you love him, you don't want to do that until you are 100% sure. You can still make this work. Just let him start taking some initiative. Just call him tomorrow at a reasonable time.

A friend of mine once told me there is a thin line between love and obsession. I will never forget that.

Hope everything works out. Message me and let me know.

Well, I know how you feel. I too have been afraid of losing someone good to me. Sometimes it is very hard not to become "clingy". However, if he felt the same way he would probably be calling you. I think that I would give him one last call, and ask him where your relationship is going, if anywhere. Tell him how you feel, and that you don't want to be clingy but that you need some work from him also if you two want to make this work! Good luck.

been in this situation before.... if you have to "control" how often you talk, then there are problems... if a relationship is going good, you don't even know who calls more. calling too mauch can be the straw that beaks the camels back, but it is never a root issue. if it's been three days, you have every right to call. if he has a problem with that, then the relationship is going nowhere, and it's better to find out now. on the other hand.... obsessing over it means you could be overreacting....

If he was such a good man he would call you. There is nothing wrong with calling him. I called my husband when we were dating and I felt the same way always like OMG am I calling too much but you know what, it made him feel good that I was interested in him, and that I cared enough to call him. He should have called you, He needs to be sensitive to your feelings and it doesn't sound like he is.

Honestly, if he was a keeper, he would call you. Regardless of how often you called him (unless it was 50X/day). there are plenty of good men who will love to see a movie with you.
