A replacement dad
Was your dad absence from your life (yes here for sure).
If he is kind please do not take it for more than what it is in other words,
Dont act on it.

He would probably be mortified to know that his kindness is being mistaken for something other than what he intended.

I'm going to have to go way out on a limb here on this one because you didnt include any history of yourself.

Its not really the guy thats special as it is you in particular. Something with your relationship with your father i'm guessing. Maybe he was a great dad and you want someone just like him, its fairly common for someone to date another person that is very much like a parent. Or you have an abandonment issue if your dad wasnt around and you are looking to replace what was missing.

Sorry if i'm way off but i'm taking a stab at it with what little info I have.

An older is not the problem I went with someone 20 years older and they can be charming, well mannered.

Stay away from married men that will bring you only heartache.

Maybe because you know you can't have him, forbidden fruit or something like that. saying that, I thinkolder men can be more interesting, generally speaking. My girlfriend is 27 years younger than me and we get along so well it's unbelievable. Age doesn't matter, it's the person that counts.

I am having the same problem actually..i tend to find myself attracted to older more mature guys who are established....it's ok if you are attracted to him but when they are married then it is a little bit more complicated

It's that "older man" phenomenon.. he is like a father figure but not in a creepy kind of way.

older=more mature= responsible= get along/no arguments= happy...but u MUST forget about him and move on, he already belongs to someone and it is not moral to break up a marrage

Mature and confident men can be very attractive.

There's NOTHING wrong with that.

But you shouldn't do anything about it unless you KNOW that his wife knows.
