i mean breeds such as bulldogs, bull terriers, american staffies, english staffies... and all these cool breeds. Whats up with all these gay dogs like shitzu, poobles, miniature this and that....

As there are more people and more of them live close together, small breeds are becoming more common.
I always thought when I was growing up that I was going to get a big dog when I grew up. When I married, my dh had grown up with a chihuahua and thought we should get one. I agreed because I liked the dog he had had. Now I find that I really appreciate my little dogs. I have 5 (couldn't do that easily with something big). I love having the different personalities, they are cheaper to feed than one big dog, and they can crawl up in my lap.
Small breeds have their place. Don't knock it until you try it.
