1) If you can make one lie more effective then you have less work to do.

2)Of course a liar should have a good memory--or else he may get himself in trouble (by saying something that contradicts what he originally lied about)

3) I don't really know--I guess just that men will never understand women.

NEVER break the truth. It is far better to bend it.
A case in point:
We had knowledge prior to the attack on Pearl Harbor, but did not act on it. The American people are told the Japanese have committed a sneak attack on us. It is a bent truth, but not broken. Years later we are told that the intelligence was "faulty" and "sketchy". Doesn't THAT sound familiar?

A broken truth is NO good.
A case in point:
"I did not have sex with that woman" -Bill Clinton
Of course he was proven to be a liar. His public persona has suffered ever since. A better tactic for him would have been to use a bent truth like:
"I love my wife and family and will not tolerate questions of this nature. I demand you respect the office I hold."

The liar's curse: he can't believe anyone else.

A lie can get halfway around the world before the truth can get its pants on.
