A heart murmur happens when there is turbulence or something is being blocked the blood flow within your heart blood vessels or known as coronary artery disease. It could be loud ,soft or it can radiates or spread towards the jaw or L upper arm. It may or may not present as chest pain. A chest pain could be either coming from the heart itself, a lungs, stressful or vigorous activity or musculoskeletal in origin. If you feel there's is frequency of symptoms, you have to consult with a doctor or a cardiologist to evaluate you further. My advised is to lessen your intake of fatty and oily foods, avoid alcoholic drinks and caffeinated beverages which are risk factors to developed coronary artery disease.

A trip to your doctor is in order.

Write down what you are doing when you have any pain, shortness of breath, etc.

This way, you won't forget while in the examining room.

Usually, murmers aren't much to worry about, but be sure. Your doctor might order an EKG to be sure. It doesn't hurt and takes 5 minutes.

I work at a doctors office. You should first call your PCP and see him/her and get an EKG done to see if its normal or not. EKG reads your heart beat and whether or not its normal. You may also get an authorization from your PCP to see a cardiologist for further evaluation.
