I've had a lot of interest in buying a Honda Fit, but I've read reports about a hybrid version in 2008. So far, I've contacted 9 Honda dealers, but they're keeping their mouths shut. This is usually the time of the year when new car announcements, so I'm wondering if anybody has heard anything. With gas prices rising (and living in CA), the best fuel efficiency is important to me. Thanks for any help.

I used to sell Honda, we would get questions like that all the time.
Now.........Honda management usually does not leak information about products in development, however......since Honda has hybrid vehicles in different classes now, I think it is safe to assume EVERY one of their vehicles has a Hybrid capability, it's just the matter of management deciding whether it's economically advantagious to market it.

i'd get the hybrid, its no longer noisy, extra appropriate miliage. i'm positive because the battery in effortless words has that a lot life on it it will depart the motor with a lot less placed on at 250km like quite a few different guy said. What if gasoline prices pass up also? interior the top thats a confusing decision to pick from, yet would not you want a sparkling vehicle then a stinky gasoline vehicle. i'd pass for the hybrid

Nope... if you've learned how hybrid work, The fit would not be a good idea, esspcially not for Honda. honda's Hybrid is different From toyota's design. for the size of the fit, imagine how a fit would run on the drive train thats in the Honda insight.... not a good idea...
