Cardio exercise is a great start to losing weight. In addition to jogging, you may wish to change your diet by eating more fruits and vegetables and cutting down on dairy and food with trans-fats and sugar. Health professionals recommend at least 30 minutes of exercise (jogging included!) 3-5 times a week. When I first started jogging I noticed great results after 2-3 months (that also included a diet change). 30 minutes is a great start and you'll notice a difference in your body in a few months. I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

use the freezer to add some extra oomph to summer foods freeze grapes for some bite sized delights or get a popsicle mold and freeze some greek yogurt with berries
