No so far scientists have not found out any medicine for it. However you can try natural dying like henna which on regular use darkens the hair and it has no side effects whatsoever.

YES!
..i dont like dying my hair either but i have found a great alternative.
try a color creme or color mousse. they have no harmful chemicals in them and they are actual conditioners so i looove that! they only last for about a month, before the roots start to show but the color will stay on the tips.
i like switching up my hair color and this is a safe and effective way to doing it without dye. John Frieda has some great products taylored to specific hair colors which will color them.
im black, and there is a line for people of color called 'motions' and their packaging is yellow with purple font. there color conditon workes THE BEST! it only comes in blond, dark brown, and red to refreshen hair, there are not inbetween colors but its great.
check them out! ...you'll love color cremes! :)

stay out of the sun and you avoid bleaching.... That doesn't darken what you have, but does prevent it from getting lighter.
dirty hair tends to appear to be darker... Thats probably not the answer you want.

No there is no way of darkening your hair if you don't put dark dye on it. :/
