I think destiny is a funny thing, not funny but weird. In this case, I think wilson chose his own destiny. Risky behavior is risky behavior, whether smoking, drugs, drinking or unfortunatly, unprotected sex. Can never know these days. However, I think his choice not to smoke did not bring this on. His choice to 'have a few drinks' which altered his inhibitions, have sex with someone he hardly knew was his downfall.

He could have caught AIDS just as easily from someone who was a smoker. I'm not saying this because I'm against smoking (in fact I am a smoker myself) I'm just saying it because it's true. Too bad for Wilson though. Poor guy. :)

I think you're just looking for a reason to start (or continue) smoking and trying to justify it with a hypothetical situation.

good thing he doesn't smoke...
don't think much of the girl if she knew she was positive and both of them should have known to use protection.
HIV is not aids, although is may progress there.
and the key word here was MIGHT,,,right?

I think its his fault for having sex with her anyway, she sounds either depressed or a whore to have sex with someone she just met because he didn't smoke.

Its her fault though for not telling him she has HIV.

I think you should be careful, compassionate, and caring for others and things will be fine. Even bad things happen for a reason, even if we can not see the reason.
