Biscquick is more of a biscuit mix and is much lighter than pancake mix. I don't think the recipe will work if it calls for bisquick....it'll come out too heavy.

No. Bisquick, although it can be used to make pancakes, is actually what is called a baking mix. There's nothing special about bisquick. It is basically the base ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt, etc) that are used in most baking recipes. That is why many recipes call for bisquick instead of having you mix the ingredients yourself, because it saves time and is fool proof. If you don't have any bisquick you should just mix your own baking mix and use it.

I wouldn't substitue it. Besides, bisquick tastes better than Aunt Jemima!

no, bisquick is made special so it can be used in recepies other than pancakes.
