Looks like you have a choice, Hurt her by telling her you don't want a relationship with her or hurt your self by allowing her to make you feel uncomfortable in the relationship! No, your not Bad. It's better to tell her now than it would be a few months from now!!!

Deen,
Not knowing you, I wouldn't know, but you don't seem to be, and I doubt that you're going to go to Hell for not wanting to pursue a one date long relationship. It's a shame that her friend died, but when you get down to it, it's a shame that people are mortal. We're all losing people we care about all of the time. If we could all be given or at least loaned whatever we wished for whenever we were in the position of having somebody to mourn or somebody to worry about, we'd never have to hear the word "no", and how convenient that would be for some of us, were it only possible.
Her being clingy after just one date is worrisome. It screams "potential stalker". It's nice that you care about this stranger's feelings, but the way she brought up her friend's death sounds a little manipulative, and there is nothing wrong with not letting yourself get played.

Welcome to the powers of female manipulation. She has other girlfriends to cry to. She picked you because she gets that you are not into her, but maybe, if she's "in crisis", you'll feel sorry for her and have sex with her and then she thinks your're hooked.
Got all that? You are not going to hell for kindly telling her you don't mind being there as a friend while she goes through a tough time, but that sex and/or a relationship is not in the cards.
-Sincerely, an old lady who tells the truth. Sorry girls.

I do not think you are a bad person and I doubt you will see hell for cutting ties with this young lady.I think you need to be clear that you need space and your not in a place in your life where you are ready to deal with such deep issues.Just let her know you need space to find yourself and deal with your own issues. The longer you prolong this, the more attatched she will become and the harder it will be to free yourself of her.Good luck.

Just tell her that you never liked her and that she actually makes you sick. Take her off of you friend's list, block her calls, and if she continues to try and contact you, threaten to get a restraining order.

Cut her off.
(your question about going to hell seems to me to lack sincerity. Did you just tack that on in order to justify being in the religion section?

leave her alone and let her grieve with her other friends.
You aren't being a bad person. Every time you will want to say something to her about breaking up your friednship, she will come up with a sad story to get you to feel guilty and to stay with her. Just leave!
