When i use the electric door locks, it arms the anti-theft alarm. The only way I can get it to shut off is to disconect the battery.

i have a 95 and my dr door lock is messed . to disarm it i have to use the pass door lock untill i get the remote . or fix the dr door lock .

i own a shop,and there is a fuse for the alarm system,this is a common problem with the older explorers,you can pull the fuse and it will stop it from doing that,you,ll have to look at the panel to see which one it is,but that will stop it from doing this,i have had to dis-arm a few like that ,its the switch in the drivers door that's causing this to happen,good luck,i hope this help,s.
