Do you know for a fact that you believe in a higher power? What are your ideas about this higher power? How do you feel this higher power should be worshipped/served/pleased? Do you believe that this higher power has any messengers? Do you believe that any particular text outlines the message of this higher power better than others? What are your opinions on the afterlife?

Post the answers to these questions, and we'll probably be able to help you figure it out.

Forget religion, it is man made. Seek God through the Bible. True Christianity is not a religion, it is a relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ. If you seek God in complete honesty and with an open mind to the Truth, He will always reveal Himself to you through the Bible. Seek only a relationship with the One who created the universe and all that is within it. If you seek Him with your whole heart you will find Him, though He is not very far from any one of us. These are but a few of the promises found in the Bible

What do you believe? What do you want from your spirituality?
Don't categorise yourself just because others want you to. I used to be a part of the Uniting Church (Christian) however my faith led me in a different direction, so I followed it. I'm not a part of any church or religion anymore, however I still believe in a 'God'.
Be part of what feels right for you... you'll know if you trust your instincts.

The best way to start is deciding if you choose Good or Evil. I feel that original sin gave us this responsibility, and unfortunately it can seem easier to choose the latter. If this is how you feel, then Christian religions may best suit your spiritual needs.

Try the Belief-O-Matic quiz over at Beliefnet.com:

It tells you which religion or philosophy best suits your beliefs. It's a lot of fun, and the results can be very surprising. :-)

personally i say go without one, but what you must do if you want to find one for you is look through all the available religious options. do some very thorough research, and then choose the one that fits you. remember you can switch if you do not agree with one.

So you basically want to worship yourself.

Write down what your "belief system is" or answer the question Who is God, who is Jesus. If you aren't sure how to answer those questions, then you really are not religious - or devoted to any particular teachings. People who believe there is no God are called Athiests.
