I really need to know if guys like "clingy-girlfriends" because I know I am "clingy". Is there anyway to stop being so "clingy"?

I would have to say no. I like girls that are strong, independent, and know what they want, but are affectionate and loving.
Clingy is not good because, (no offense) you can really suck the life out of a person. You need to be able to stand on your own two feet before you even think about getting into a relationship.

I don't like clingy women every body needs a little space, some time to be alone with their thoughts. Some times I have to draw the line when it comes to my girlfriend following me into the bathroom grrrrrrr!!!
How to stop being clingy? Obviously the guy likes you or he wouldn't be with you. If he needs some alone time just back off and let him have some peace. Maybe you might have self esteem problems but the guy is with you that should make you feel good about yourself.

I think there is two types of people..The clingy and the non clingy..I had a boyfriend who wanted to be with me 24/7..It drove me absoultely nuts. If he went to get his oil changed, he'd want me to go. He now has a girlfriend and they both have the same personailty type ( or no friends). It seems to work out great for the both of them

Clingy is ok, just not all the time. One of the primary differences in men and women is a woman can be around the guy she loves almost all the time, where as a guy needs his guy time where he can just hang with his buddies or by himself and be a guy.

Guys don't like clingy girlfriends.It's aggravating and will push them away.They will lose interest in you and want to be with someone else.The best way to not be clingy would be for you to focus on other things.....go out with your friends.Spend time by yourself and do things that you've always wanted to do.
