Why do some people that are Christians or baptist or whoever believe that you can do whatever you want during the week, living like a rank sinner but Sunday comes and everybody wants to be more holier than thou.

It is true, if we take on the resposibility of calling ourselves Christians, we should act like one.

GOD bless

If you are going by what people say, you are not following Christ or worshiping God.People are always asking the" WHY ?" when it comes to a Christian. To answer the majority of the" Why ?"s it is because Christians are human just like everybody else.Is this a good excuse , not really. A Christian should always be striving to be a better person and Christian.

That's a very cynical way to regard Christianity. I suspect that such people are more attracted to the idea of belonging to the right club and feeling virtuous than actually changing their lifestyles to build up the Kingdom of God.

Actually, I don't mind if a person acts up a little, as long as their overall intention is to promote peace, love and service. But Sunday sanctimony is talk, not action.

The Gospel says, "By their fruits you shall know them." Sunday is blossom time, Monday is fruit time. You may not have permission to pass judgment, but you can have a reasonably informed opinion.

If you can't answer that question, then I'm not sure I can.
The truth is that there are alot of hypocrites out there, but there are also alot of people who only 'believe' because they're told to, and they don't bother thinking much about it.
The thing that keeps me from getting annoyed at people like that is reminding myself we are all on a spiritual journey, but not all at the same stage of that journey.
That and a little quote "Judge not lest ye be judged"

That is not a Christian belief at all. But of course, there are always hypocrites who put on a good face when in presence of other worshippers.

It's a form of self-deception that our Creator will not tolerate much
longer. There's no place in the Bible that hypocrisy is sanctioned;
such ones are following their leaders. Note what Jesus called the
religious leaders of his day in Matthew chapter 23. Verse 13 starts out with "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!......verse 16 "Woe to you, blind guides,....." verse 17 "Fools and blind ones!" verse 23 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites"....verse 25 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites....." verse 29, "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!..." verse 33 , "Serpents, offspring of vipers..."

Those practicing this counterfeit form of Christianity have given the Christianity taught in the Bible a bad name but we eventually "reap what we sow" Galatians chapter 6 verse 7.
The apostle Paul was inspired to write in Galatians chapter 5 verses 19 - 21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, and they are fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct, idolatry, practice of spiritism, enmities, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, contentions, divisions, sects, envies, drunken bouts, revelries and things like these. As to these things I am FOREWARNING you, the same way as I did forwarn you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God's kingdom.

christianity and living like christ comes down to the heart of an individual. a true christian will do his/her best to be like Jesus, but because we are humans, we will mess up. but a true christian will live a life dedicated to love, not perfection on a regular basis.

Yes, sadly there are those who live their lives like this and truly believe that they are saved.
However, God is watching and he has firmly stated that you cannot serve God and Mammon! At some point they will have to make a choice!
