best to use that is free that i can download to help me with this - i just need it once - i have tried to burn them to a dvd using the standard windows profram and it keeps saying its not able too...so i wanted to try a back up program specifically for this purpose...PLEASE HELP :O

google has released a Free photo software that make photo Cd's : http://downint.googlepages.com/photosoftware.html
it can perform many other tasks including searching & organizing your pics into folders, editing photos, printing .... etc
best part : it is free .

There are many ways you could do it,
1> Your normal DVD/CD-RW Drive (Some pc have different)those can make DVD's and CD's, just drag and drop files to the Folder.
2> Roxio CD/DVD Creator
3> Nero Easy CD/DVD Creator
I would recomend having the 2 and 3 because they are the best one's around the world!

i didnt know there was a windows program that burned dvds, all you need is any dvd burning software, u could try downloads.com and search for a free one, what u need to burn it as is a "data dvd"

first of all make sure you have a dvd burner and nto a cd burner

for the program i think nero lets you do a trial, so check Nero's site. www.nero.com

see if www.download.com has anything
