I think that a lot of the time the money that we make in life depends on the relationships we share. To me it seems like the majority of things that happen in your life are related to who you know and what kind of connections you have. Whether it comes to getting a job or a discount on a service the bridges you build and burn affect a lot of what happens to you. Sometimes a relationship can get you a step ahead of the game in your career path and other times the love you share with someone makes money seem much less important. I think that money and relationships work hand in hand.

Relationships are the most important thing. Money is important but provided their is enough to live it is not a vital issue. Without relationships we are isolated and have no moral or emotional support and money cannot replace this.
Total absence of money, where it becomes life threatening is a different issue and then it is not an issue of money but of survival. Dead people do not have relationships so in this case money, or more properly food and shelter become highest priority.

Though money has its place, relationships are by far more important. You can not put a price on a good relationship.

now be honest...without money, we would be nothing!!! no home, no food, no car, etc. money cant be everything but priorities have to be set straight. our society in this time of life requires us to have to work to make a living to be comfortable. prioritize your responsibilities! but make sure you dont lose yourself in your work. once you make enough to make bills and have a little to splurge and save, then the money is enough. it's hard to juggle the relationship and work together, but it REALITY, you have responsibilities. and that significant other should at least understand the nature of it. so to answer that question...it really isnt one or the other, it's a little bit of both because we also yearn for that companionship

unfortunately they are both important. its ok to think money is important as long as it doesnt control you, that way you have a nice balance.
