Just wandering I have a Ford escort with a 1.9L 4 cylinder whoopdy doo wanting to know for in the future

i own a shop,and today you can just about do anything you want to ,the only limit now days is money,if that's not a problem anything can be done,we put a 350 Chevy in a Mazda 626,and its a wicked little car ,because it doesn't weigh much.but i have a friend right now who is putting an escort body on a Suzuki samurai frame,and he already has the 350 engine mounted in it,its going to rear wheel drive also,this should be a wicked little car when he gets dome with it,but nothing is impossible these days,anything you can dream up you can build it,good luck i hope this help,s.

Sure, do what u want, but when u hit the gass don't be surprised if the car seperates and spinns off the wheels and the front end seperates from the rear end... The power is not intended for that size and weight of a carr.....LOL>.. It might work, but I would be investing in a new car for what u would have to pay for an engine block.... i think those 6 to 8 cyc are quite costly... I think somone payed 3 to 4 thousand and if u want the thing installed u might have to pay more that 1200 for labor... Why waste the $$$ Lease a mustang gt for under 300 with a v6 or v8...

YES YOU CAN PUT A V6 OR A V8 IN A FORD ESCORT BUT THEY MADE THE ESCORT WITH A V6 TOO AND IF YOU WANT TO PUT A V8 YOU CAN BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO DO SOME MODIFACATIONS TO THE ENGINE COPARTMENT AND YOU HAVE TO MAKE SHURE THERE IS ROOM FOR THE MOTOR AND THE TRANS TOGETHER IN THE ENGINE COPARTMENT AREA BUT IT HAS BEEN DONE BEFORE AND IT CAN BE DONE AGAIN AND IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT IT SHURE WOULD BE KOOL TO HAVE A LITTLE CAR WITH ALL THAT HORSEPOWER HOPE THIS HELPS THANKS............

Sale your car buy a car with a V-6 or a V-8. You will never see you money out of something like that.

a small six may fit, but most 8's are way to big to fit in the compartment without re-doing the front end.
